"Search" finds an email and shows the "location". I can open the email from "search"window, but I can't find it in the "location" folder.

I did not used to have this problem. But, I tried the folders>unified option, didn't like it, and then went back to folders>all. After that, many of my emails are no longer visible within their respective folders. If I search for a particular email, it pops up in the Search Window, and I can open it from there. The Search Window also tells me the exact location folder for this email. When I open that folder, the email is not there -- or not visible -- or something. How can I make my emails visible within their folders?

right click on the folder and select 'Properties' click on 'Repair folder' button to re-index your mail.

Select another folder and reselect the one you reindexed. This will look at the actual file storing the emails and display what it locates.

Did this work?

I did exactly what you suggested, and nothing changed. Thx for trying. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
