my address book comes up blank
when I hit Address book in Thunderbird it comes up blank. Yet, when I write a merssage the email addresses show up in the side bar. What is wrong?

By default, you have two address books, one personal one, and one with collected addresses You can switch between those two. For me, i can select on the left, which to use, when I am seeing the address book.
