How can I (we) disable enhanced tracking so it's not loaded at all in the browser, i.e., we manually turn it on and off when needed? After this last update, some websites I visit are automatically crashing, the screen freezes, I cannot click on their navigation or products, it's become a horrible nightmare and it's not a good use of my time. I want to disable it.

Enhanced Tracking Protection is preventing access to x.com even after it is allegedly "turned off" for this site. I have been using personal computers since the 1970s after the IBM PC was introduced, but now I am about ready to ditch Firefox AND Windows 11 to install a decent version of Linux. Grok on my iPhone 8 offered several suggestions to resolve this issue, but none of them have worked so far... including trying to us Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox.

I am not being allowed to access some websites because of my 'Do Not Track' status still being broadcast. I had the field set to 'Yes' when the field was removed. I am not allowed onto these other sites because of my 'Do Not Track' status. How can I fix this ? I was planning on using Firefox when I go to Apple silicon later this year - but not if I keep running into problems before I switch.

If I may offer my perspective, I believe the Enhanced Tracking Protection is a commendable choice. I'm afraid to say that I always get an error message on the TikTok website. I'm afraid I don't have the ability to circumvent this block. I would be very grateful if you could assist me in this matter. I believe I have a clear understanding of the website into which I wish to log in. It would be very helpful if there were an option to manually deactivate the protective features. <if i may offer my believe the enhanced tracking protection is a commendable choice. p></if>

I'm being blocked from accessing an online publication I subscribe to unless I remove an ad blocker. When I complained, I got this response: "The service we use for logins and subscriptions, Piano, has been flagged as a tracker by a widely used open source tracking list, so to access your account information or benefits on the site, you will need to slightly loosen your browser's tracking restrictions that apply to the domain piano.io - how this is done varies quite a bit based on what browser/extension is being used to apply the restrictions." I'm using Firefox v149 on a 4.5yo MacBook Air. I have several ad blockers installed (probably redundantly: AdBlocker Plus, AdBlocker for Facebook, AdBlocker Ultimate, and Ghostery AdBlocker). I have no idea what I need to do to loosen Firefox's tracking restrictions that apply to piano.io. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!

Whenever I search something on Firefox on iPhone it immediately appears in Facebook advertising. I thought Firefox was supposed to prevent Facebook tracking? I want this to stop.
