Thunderbird for Android Community Forum

In the older K-9, when one changed the active account, the inbox for the newly selected account would just be shown immediately. No need for any other operations on my part.

Now I have to tap on the inbox to get there. This seems an awful nuisance and offers little to anyone, I suspect.

Is there some way to get the old K-9 behavior?

In V.10, it used to be I had to really swipe all the way left for delete to occur.

Now in V.13 only a small/partial movement deletes.

This is tool easy to mis-trigger. Please go back.

Looking at the screen, which identity does everybody think this message is going out as?

We observe those three possibilities. See the first image. Apparently the first possibility is the one that is chosen. I'm talking about just an email address with no name.

Okay, in the second image it turns out it was not the first possibility that was chosen it was the second possibility.

However at the bottom of the screen again we see it seems to be saying it was the first possibility.

No I'm not saying I ever expected it to be the first possibility. I'm just saying that this needs all to be 150% more clearer.

Hi. I am finding, as I use TB Android more and more, that some messages - I know coming from gmail but perhaps also others - come in lacking attachments. In the message list I clearly see the paper clip icon. But when the message is opened I see no sign of an attachment anywhere. This is true even when I tap download complete message at the very bottom. But I can easily see it on the gmail website AND if I download the message into TB desktop.

Anyone have any idea what is happening here?

I have thunderbird installed on my android phone and my Dell laptop. I want to be able to sync my email accounts so I don't have to delete all my emails in both places. My laptop does not give me the IMAP option, only POP3. Thanks for any advise!!

I just updated to K-9 mail 12.0 on CalyxOS 6.10.20 Which is an Android version 15 K-9 mail crashes on startup. Clearing cache does not work. I'm asking here before i clear all data and try again

Thunderbird does not import current messages from Gmail, it lags several hours behind. For example, Gmail will show new messages arriving at 9 am but Thunderbird shows most recent messages arriving at 12 am. I have checked settings and it seems like syncing is set correctly. Google Pixel 9a, Android v16.

I can't read my mails and every time i open Thunderbird i get told that my registration failed and i have 3 Options to choose "try again", "enter new password" and "cancel". Doesnt matter ehich one I choose i can't read my mails or receive any and the same message and the same options pop up again.

I was in Sweden and got the Skånetrafiken App on my mobile. Now I have a steady stream of Swedish Scam emails that go direct to my inbox. I have been reporting them but they keep coming daily. What can I do?

For many years I have been using my Windows 10 with Thunderbird and a cell phone. Something happened when I updated Thunderbird on my laptop three few weeks ago. No emails go to my S23. Can someone please help me? I downloaded current Thunderbird version to my laptop. Problem might be being asked by Micros for my account email and password going back many years and I have not clue what it is. There is a chance Microsoft as blocked me from changing though I have no clue how to restart with them. April will be 3 years since I purchased my S23 and everything was good prior to me changing my Thunderbird password. Please help me.

I cannot sign in. I see a box showing Mozilla Thunderbird below above it says Micros I see my Micros account. I have 10 password I haven't used any them that I remember. If I try too many times I am blocked. I was able to see what I would have to to get a QR code but not anymore. When I tried to get code last a few days ago There were black vertical lines moving from left to right so I could not take picture using my S23. I did some search and it I have to change some setting on my S23. I have new version of Thunderbird on my S23. No password since I have not been able to take QR image. This is not working for a week now. No emails to my S23 account. Please help me.

From what I can see online, the instructions are, read the QR code and everything works. I've also seen a lot of wondering about QR codes not working. I get QR codes, but Thunderbird can't read them. Seems to be a bug in the QR format.
