Thumb drive service info card fails on Firefox but runs fine on Edge.
This device is essentially a thumb drive made by MOPAR that contains automotive serve diagrams for a Jeep Wrangler. When you boot this device with Firefox being the primary browser you get garbage instead of schematic drawings. If I make Edge the primary browser the card boots properly and runs. This a legally obtained card with no password system on board.

Hi
Are you able to share a gill screenshot of what you are seeing?
Do you have any add-ons installed in Firefox?
I guess that the files from MOPAR are .pdf. Do other .pdf files open fine in Firefox?
Hello Paul. Please pardon an old man, when your 82 your brain isn't as fast as it used to be. First of all this machine is running windows 10 64bit. The card is a USB plugged into a USB 3.0 port that all works fine with edge. The card appears as a CD drive letter M: in This PC. The directory and content are readable. The images are in HTML. The txt file has the usual i. e. if it doesn't start double click the unlock file an executable. This is where the fun starts. In Edge a normal startup occurs, you get a menu select what operation you want and bada bing bada boom you got music. Do the same thing in firefox you get the circle of death and the machine is locked up. Try ctrl, alt, dlt you get the pop done but it does not respond. Last resort is hard reset and restart the machine. So to me it appears as though FireFox has a conflict with that unlocl file. Hope this helps Lew
