Hello All, We've used Thunderbird for a long time now. We recently added a few more computers to the office.

When we try to add an email account via File>New>Email Account We fill in the two fields and click to proceed and the swirling circle just keeps going forever.

As a test we tried to add extra email accounts to our existing computers and the same thing happens.

All thunderbird versions are: 140.2.1esr (64-bit)

When i google this problem it suggests adjusting the firewalls or antivirus settings. It just seems strange that this problem would start all of a sudden.

thank you for any help. zac
