I don't have any problem sending messages on my PC at home just on my laptop. I have windows 11 on both.

I get a message...

connection to outgoing server (SMTP) timed out.

another time I got the message

'sending failed. error while sending mail. outgoing server (SMTP) error. server responded impout 006.msg.chrl.charter.net cmsmtp 50.201.174.29 blocked please see... https//spectrum.net/support/internet/ understanding-email-error-codes for more information AUP#Out - 1130

I looked up 1130 in spectrum’s website but I couldn't figure out what it was saying. I also called spectrum to see if they could help but they couldn't help and just referred me back to you guys.

my outgoing connection is

description - charter communications server name - mobile.charter.net Port - 587 Security - normal password user name - robinclaire1@charter.net (or any of my other email addresses)

ps - I had a terrible time with thunderbird trying to load a profile from another computer. This failed utterly and I had to have someone help me to reload thunderbird on this laptop. I've never had luck with sending ever since it was reloaded. to reload, I had to search for 'thunderbird' on my computer over and over again until there was no 'thunderrbirds' to delete - that included several thunderbird downloads as well. I wiped my laptop clean of all thunderbirds and then it could finally be downloaded. But I didn't think to try to send a message when I tech guy was there so I didn’t catch that I couldn’t send them.

I have Thunderbird on my Omen 35L on Win 11. Thunderbird CANNOT CONNECT to Comcast to send an email. This was not a problem on Win10. I have done ALL the settings fixes and NOTHING WORKS. Other mail provider accounts send OK (e.g. Site Ground). This is unique to Win 11 and Comcast.

I’m using Thunderbird to connect my Hotmail account. The setup shows as “successfully added,” but an error message appears:

“The operation on Inbox did not succeed. The mail server for account responded: User is authenticated but not connected.”

Previously, the connection worked perfectly, but starting this week, Thunderbird can no longer access or sync the hotmail mailbox.

How to fix this problem!!???

I can not receive or send emails with my thunderbird account. It keeps saying that the connection to pop.centurytel.net was reset. Can you help me get my email back please?

We have several computers on a local network without internet access. There is a problem in Thunderbird 143 - files are downloading slowly. POP3 and IMAP are the same. From several tens of seconds to one and a half minutes, 11 files from the letter were downloaded, totaling 20 MB. There is such a feature - if you disconnect the network adapter, the problem practically disappears. There was no such problem in the Thunderbird 115 version. The Em client and Mailbird clients were also installed for the experiment - they also do not have such a problem.

The mailbox is small and contains 20-30 almost empty emails.

Tell me, please, what can be done about it?
