Recently google's advanced search page changed from how it's been displayed for years -- seemingly only on firefox. And I hate the change. It still displays as always on DuckDuckGo and Safari. Firefox is my preferred browser, but I use goodle advanced search myriad times every day and this is changed version is such a PITA that it's approaching being a dealbreaker for me. Sure, I'd like to know wth happened and why, but really I just want google advanced search to return to my preferred display. (It does not just look different, it performs differently, in little ways that matter a lot to me over the multiple times I use it. Be glad to elucidate if it matters.) First attached image is what I'm now getting on ff. Second attached image is what I used to get on ff, and still get on DDG and Safari, and would like back on ff. Please help.

Hi, I'm running Firefox 145 on a MacBook Air, with MacOS 12.7.6 (Monterey). When I try to add a bookmark to an existing folder on the Bookmarks Toolbar, it will not show up. It does show up if I go to the hamburger menu, and then Bookmarks/Recent Bookmarks, but not from the Toolbar. This is true for any folder on the Toolbar. I do not have this problem with Firefox 145 on Linux Mint Cinnamon. Is this a bug or a feature? Please advise, and thanks.

Just updated to FF 145.0.2 //on a Mac Os 14.7.7 yesterday

I *always* use private pgs for shopping then when I find what I want I go to a regular page to make my purchases then delete the cookies immediately afterwards.

Apparently now we can't block location settings ?? or a Do Not Track?? I opened a new Private browser window for a website that apparently immediately asks for your location and lo and behold there I am(!!) Shocked to say the least especially since sometimes in the past even when I tried to use my location for whatever reason it wasn't showing up precisely but in an area over 100 sq miles. So what's up? For many reasons I won't go into here I really REALLY don't want my location to be available.

Good news 1: I'm trying to move away from Safari towards Firefox :-) Good news 2: there are loads of KB shortcuts in Firefox :-)

Bad news: after using Safari for > 15 years I'm confused and make a lot of mistakes in using shortcuts :-(

Suggestion: although there is a webpage explaining clearly all shortcuts, it would be handy to provide a downloadable PDF document with an (compact) overview of shortcuts. A 2-page document to be printed recto/verso would be extremely usefull to have at hand.

I am writing to inquire about the difference in the fullscreen video transition animation style between Firefox on Windows and macOS.

Observed Difference:

• Windows: Uses a smooth fade-in/fade-out animation when entering and exiting fullscreen, which provides a polished user experience.
• macOS: The transition is present, but it lacks the distinct Windows-style fade effect and feels less smooth or different in style compared to the Windows version.

Settings Checked:

• I have confirmed that the about:config preferences full-screen-api.transition.duration.enter and full-screen-api.transition.duration.leave are both set to 200 200. These settings did not enable the identical Windows fade animation on macOS.

Core Question:

• Is there any current method (e.g., through advanced settings, flags, or extensions) for a user to apply the exact same smooth fade-in/fade-out fullscreen transition animation seen on Windows to Firefox for macOS?
• If there is no current way, is this difference due to limitations with the macOS graphical environment, or is there a plan to unify the animation style in future updates?

Which version of Firefox (Windows, Mac & Linux) will make the local network access (LNA) enhancement generally available? We at Box would like to inform our joint enterprise users and administrators to expect this enhancement and provide them guidance on how to manage this change.

I have Google Calendar open in a Firefox tab. I want to add the tab to my Mac desktop Dock for quick access. I've tried dragging the tab to the Desktop and then dragging from Desktop to the Dock without success, and searches generally return how-tos for only Chrome or Safari. Help!

Hello. I can't print pdf files from Firefox but I can print them from Safari on my Mac. Using Firefox, I keep getting "The operation couldn't be completed. Permission denied." I have looked through Firefox settings and can't find anything about pdf file printing options.
