I'm a bit out of ideas how I can get Firefox to display the correct characters. For reference: https://learnjapanese.moe/font/ I just recognized it since Anki is using System WebView and thus defaults to Firefox. There, it worked until a few weeks ago to just set to have the characters rendered in japanese fonts. Windows: I only have german and japanese locale installed, i even changed in intl.cpl the language to japanese. I have installed the japanese language pack / fonts and it's showing correctly in any windows editor. Firefox: Second language set to japanese, disabled all addons, tried it on private mode to no success. Any ideas how I get the characters to display?

This is a growing frustration with this browser. Has Mozilla changed something?

I allow cookies and want them so when I choose a website I use all the time, I can get to it fast AND I see firefox finish typing it. Common websirtes like Home Depot now it does not remember anything NOT ANYTHING. I AM AT SUCH A LOSS.

PLEASE HELP. In the settings and security I have it to allow for cookies. I do not tell it to delete cookies when i close the browswer yet it is not remembering my websites. I can delete cookies if i wanted to do that. Meanwile browsing is slow and it is such an aggravation. tried opal browser because I want something simple and will do what i want, like accept and keep cookies especially for sites I go to some times I cannot remember.

So please can you help with SUGGESTONS just asking this and that is not help when it goes on and one if you don't know I understand but I want to know what can cause this so i can figure out what in the world setting is off on this browser. I never had this problem before. I use Bitdefender but it is just the freebee one so it's not aggressive. I can't imagine why this and even the other chrome has stopped it may be a setting in my computer. PLEASE if you know tell me how to fixc that.

I would like to add another shortcut to the Firefox home page, but although there is enough room to add one in the second row, no spaces with an edit tool are visible or available. I am using a MacBookPro with an M3Pro chip.

I have noticed recently that when i try to play certain videos i am sent that are embedded on webpages the screen just goes black and i cannot see anything but i can still hear the video playing in the background. Why is this happening. I have a new HP envy laptop and am using firefox browser but when i use my work laptop which does not have firefox (IBM Thinkpad) i do not face this issue therefore i assume it is a setting in firefox

it is not set as home page but msn page is automatically opening immediately after login in our network but I could not stop it. Please advise how to stop automatically opening msn page in new tap after logging in.

To preface this, I am on MacOS.

I noticed a small delay before starting videos while I have my AirPods connected. There are a few scenarios where this delay does not exist: - Any other browser - Audio is actively playing elsewhere - Mic is in use (like a zoom meeting in the background, even when muted) - Audio is muted

I have tried safe-mode, reinstalling, and even messing with the config, to no avail. I know for sure this is isolated to Firefox, and I believe it's due to how audio devices are handled. I would rather my videos immediately play rather than wait for a "health" check from my connected device, even if there isn't audio for that time period.

I am confused, because I have been unable to access google drive and Gmail, for a while now because every time I go to the website it says we have detected a problem with your cookie settings, I have tried default settings, and entering safe mode on Firefox, but neither worked. I would much appreciate assistance.

For the 2nd time in 3 months my history and password files have disappeared from my browser. I have an Acer laptop running Windows 10 with Norton Security. I've tried a few fixes from your site with no success. Also tried a fix your site did have, but the link led nowhere. I need these passwords back. What do I do? Yes, please don't give me the MS ctrl-alt-del type of response about cookies.... That was done many times before posting this. The website works fine in Brave. MS Edge well, let's not speak of it in public company shall we.

So, now what the heck is happening to FF???? I have contacted HF three times and they referred me to use other browsers other than FF. No, I DO NOT have multiple extensions nor themes. FF is bare bones but for uBlock. Hardware acceleration is off and MS Clear type is on. Anybody wanna fess up, who broke this????

firefox not discarding tabs automatically even though i have tab discarding on in about:config via "browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory=true" "browser.tabs.min_inactive_duration_before_unload=60000"

also if i discard them manually from about:unloads manually whenever i restart firefox all discarded tabs come back to life is it supposed to do that?

I am on a MacBookPro running MacOS 15.5.

My FireFox automatically updated to 139.0.4 on June 10th. Since then, my ability to access the internet with FireFox only has been intermittent - I can connect for a variable number seconds and then it disconnects for minutes or hours. I have no problems connecting to the internet with Chrome or Safari, or with other applications. My perusal of the forums leads me to believe that it is the latest update that is causing the problems.

Has anyone experienced this problem and/or does anyone have a fix? Thanks in advance.

wenn ich an meinem iOS Handy einen Tab an meinen Rechner sende, dann kommen die Tabs nicht mehr an. Früher ging es ohne Probleme. Leider kann ich nicht eingrenzen, seit wann das so ist.

Wenn ich aber vom PC Tabs an mein Handy sende, dann kommen diese an.

Hat jemand eine Idee?

I want to sync live data from all different browsers or devices that I use in. one device If I delete one tab, it should immediately be reflected on the another device tab which means all should have the same tabs on all devices at the same time
