I download my share of media using BitTorrent with Pirate Bay. Just lately, every time I attempt to download something I get redirected to a page, https://ultimatesurferprotector.com/lp5.php, that tries to sell me a VPN and I can find no way to stop this or contact them. I am happy with the VPN I have and have no interest in purchasing another. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening? Thank you.

I am trying to edit my payment method with Directv.com. I log in with no issues. However, every time I try to access "edit payment" their website automatically logs me out. After a discussion with them, they blame Firefox for the problem and want me to use a different browser. Is it Firefox or is it their website?

I have attached a screen shot so you can see where if I click I get logged out.

I’m experiencing high memory and CPU usage in Firefox, which is affecting my computer’s performance. One issue appears to be that “FirefoxCP Isolated Web Content” continues running even when tabs are inactive, contributing to increased resource usage.

Other browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, reduce memory and energy consumption by putting inactive tabs into sleep mode after a period of inactivity. I would prefer to continue using Firefox as my default browser, but I need a way to manage this level of resource usage.

Could you please advise whether Firefox offers a comparable setting, workaround, or planned improvement to reduce CPU and memory usage from inactive tabs?

I used to have many more icons on my toolbar. Since having to upgrade to Windows 11, the individual toolbar icons are huge! I can only get 6 on my toolbar, whereas on Windows 10 I have at least 11. Having to scroll down the bookmark list is time consuming and frustrating.

Suggestions?

I got a pop up asking if I wanted to use Mozilla vpn and I though I'll try it but I can't access my email and it shut down all my open tabs. How can I get this shut off? I have tried all the on line suggestions.

Cannot log on to synology when I have been logging on many times before now your browser says Unable to connect. I will need to change browsers if I do not get a response.

When I try to enter the VA site (https://www.va.gov/my-health) it never opens (see attachment). I use my back-up browse (Microsoft Edge) and I can enter the site. Can you help?

In an accounting/payroll software application, a new window opens instead of a new tab. How to I fix this?

I've already tried about:config method as well as the simple 'tabs and browsing' method within Firefox settings. Nothing seems to work.

As the title says, with both with https and http firefox displays this warning:

But no way to bypass it, trying to login to my ubiquiti edgerouter at http://192.168.1.1 or https://192.168.1.1

What can i do?
