I am using the Facebook Messenger for Firefox and would like to move the buttons (i.e. the Facebook Icon, the Friend Requests button, the Messages button and the Notifications button) from the Navigation Toolbar to my Bookmarks Toolbar, yet seem to be unable to change the location of any of them by using the "Customize Toolbar" window.

Not sure if those buttons are even moveable, but you can try deleting the localstore.rdf file.

Thank you for your reply, I tried deleting the file but can still only move everything but those buttons.

Yes, I thought so as well, but still wonder why they were made this way, especially since I have used Firefox for years because of its customizability.

Oh really? Great, looking forward to it!

No, those social buttons are not customizable.
They have no removable="true" attribute (either removable="false" or it is missing) to indicate that these buttons can be placed elsewhere.

Thank you! I'm glad to hear this is a known issue and being worked on.

I am glad you asked. It's a small small world isn't it?

Yep... actually, I was surprised that nobody has asked this question before.
