I updated my Mac Firefox last night & now it does not see my network
Firefox opens but only cashed pages load, nothing new, I closed all windows, tried all different network settings but nothing.
I did not do anything with my network, but the new version does not like it, I use Ethernet & airport for wireless printer
I turned off all Proxies Disabled all add ons & extensions
I am searching the web for solutions, Thx Terry

You can not use version 8.0.x on your ppc mac

Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac and require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
latest supported version for your os is 3.6.24 you can download from here:

For older Macs that aren't supported in Firefox 4+ versions if you like try TenFourFox for PowerPC's running Mac 10.4.11 & 10.5.8

The Trouble is with an intel Mac not a PPC mac, I am using a older PPC mac to connect to the web, the new version DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO CONNECT TO THE WEB.
It looks like a new network issue the old version did not have, worked fine before upgrade. I check network working fine, FTP & MAIL aps are working fine.
I tried several configurations , no luck Thx
Where is an old version (7) for intel mac, please don't make me load safari Thx

Can a firewall be blocking something? I am using a UVerse connection / router. It worked fine / 2 years until the upgrade to V8. If so what what might be conflicting in the firewall?
