Every time I try to use FF4, I am redirected to an HP/MSN site--"http://hp-notebook.us.msn.com/?pc=HPNTDF". FF4 is my preferred browser but I can't get to it. In fact this happened from the first time I installed FF4 and was asked if I would like to use it now. I have new HP notebook pc.

You click on what?

Maybe HP set that as your homepage in Firefox 4. Try setting your own choice of a homepage, or Restore to Default for that setting.

The answer is "icon" but that phrase was supposed to be deleted. It is replaced by the paragraph below it. The instructions for a new home page seem based upon an open FF4 page. I can't open FF4 because each time I try I'm redirected to the HP/MSN site. Is there another way I can replace the home page?
