Comcast inc. provides a version of Norton security suite Version: 4.2.0.12. It is not compatible with Firefox 4.0. I need this program to be compatible with Firefox 4.0. Is this a possibility?

May i suggest you ask Comcast/Norton, it is upto them to make their products compatible with Firefox4

Norton has a fix for Firefox 4.0 compatibility, but not for their Comcast version.

Also of note: This hotfix will NOT address compatibility issues with Firefox 4 and the Norton Toolbar on the Comcast Norton Security Suite.
