lost bookmarks
I was being asked if I wanted Firefox as a default browser. I clicked yes. The next question was if I wanted to import bookmarks from IE. I clicked no. Then all my bookmarks were gone and also a lot of my desktop icons. When I searched Firefox for a solution I saw "Torbutton" mentioned but I don't have that add-on. I also couldn't find the place where my bookmarks are hopefully still kept. How to solve this unpleasant problem ?

You will only get those questions if there isn't a default profile found. Did you uninstall Firefox at any time?
I think the best solution is to find myself a new browser. I can't believe that I'm spending all this time on this subject. I'm not giving Mozilla Firefox a second chance. I"M ANGRY !!!
