export selected history
required platform is MacOS. In order to file a support ticket with a organization I need to send them browsing history. Sending the entire history is unacceptable. I need to be able to search Firefox history for their URLs, narrow those by date, and export just the relevant data.
I have only seen an extension to export the entire history. I need this to be a fast operation not requiring installing sqlite3 or manually editing very large html or other files.
If there is not an extension capable of doing this, then it needs to be added as a core enhancement.

There is a way to export selective history, by first opening history, then for selecting URL's, hold CTRL to highlight specifig URLS, and use SHIFT to highlight a block. After that, right click the highlighted items and click copy. Note : Pasting this into word or excel will retain links, but notepad wont.
If you want to export HTML, open library (Ctrl + Shift + H)/(Cmd + Shift + H), select specific urls, right click the highlighted URLS and select bookmark Pages, and save them to an Empty folder and name it "Exported History" etc... After that, press Ctrl + Shift + O to open boomarks manager (or cmd + shift + o), then click import and backup, and choose export bookmarks to HTML. Note : this will export all bookmarks, so you can delete all the other saved bookmarks and leave the one you want to submit.
