I joined Firefox Mozilla because l wanted a different search engine but there is no Firefix search engine to make it default when I use Firefox.

Firefox is a browser. You still can use DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, Startpage, Quant or whatever you want as a search engine in Firefox.
