want a dark back ground, but every-time I switch to setting I get the old white shit!

S#!t is usually brown, are you sure you are looking at the proper direction.
How do you switch from light to dark.
I use 'crappy' Windows and Linux' and there are three options, Use system | Light | Dark and I can switch it around
