I just wanted to make sure my vpn will work on keeping all my information protected so I don't get hacked and have my personal information all over the dark web thank you for looking into this for me

That's not correct. Using a VPN will not block the exposure of your personal information.

Here is an article that explains what VPNs do and what they don't do: https://ssd.eff.org/module/choosing-vpn-thats-right-you

What will help protect your personal information? Using strong and unique passwords for your online accounts, using multi-factor authentication when possible, understanding that you don't need to give out your personal information to every single website and app that asks for it, being wary of scams and phishing attempts over email, texts, and phone calls, being careful about what you are downloading and where you are downloading it from, keeping software updated, etc..
