Try opening any Normal Website first, then tap the uBlock icon again and check if the counters start working. If it still stays at zero, UPDATE the filter lists from the dashboard and make sure the extension has all required permissions enabled in your browser.
Also CONFIRM you are using a supported browser version, because some mobile browsers limit extension behavior.
