Cache and cookies
In Firefox, I have several windows open, each with many tabs. (And BTW, I love the Firefox tab-organization feature.) I would like to empty the cache and delete all cookies. Will that close the open tabs? Is there a way to delete the cookies, empty the cache and preserve all windows & tabs?

Hi,
Clearing cookies and cache should not close any of your tabs. However, be aware that doing this will log you out of all your accounts. See these articles for instructions:

Denys, many thanks for your reply and the articles. They were very helpful and I deleted cookies & cache items with no issues. I knew going in that I'd have to log-in anew to the websites I visit, but that's a small bother. Your advice is much appreciated.
