Calendar is hanging/freezing on snoozing events

TBird 140.2.1esr (aarch64), Sequoia 15.6.1

After the latest Thunderbird update, the Calendar now severely hangs when snoozing upcoming events. It does eventually clear multiple items, VERY SLOWWWLY, one-by-one, if I let it keep going. Takes at least two minutes.

Meanwhile the entire app is frozen.
