On one of my Thunderbird email accounts, my Sent folder is inside my Inbox instead of being parallel to the Inbox folder. How can I move it outside of Inbox? (My Account Settings -- Copies & Folders seem to be set up correctly.)

that will be based on how the IMAP server stores personal folders. some place them under the inbox some do not.

You might get a result if you set the Server Settings > advanced. IMAP server directory to Inbox or INBOX or perhaps inbox. I am just guess the server directory will be inbox as the sub folders are under it, but being Linux /Unix in all probability case changes makes for a different word. Inbox INBOX and inbox are three different directories in Linux and camel case etcetera can make that many more.
