New messages NOT being shown/displayed in IN BOX

When I click Get Messagesitalic text' the counter displayed 30 new messages being downloaded, bold textBUT bold text' only three we displayed in the IN BOX.

I could not find any (27) other new ones. My ISPs server had all 30.

Please help. THANKS
