Firefox no longer remembers last position on screen

I'm using Manjaro Linux and I place Firefox in a particular position on the screen. In the previous version, just before 122.0, Firefox would "remember" the last position on the screen. Now when it starts up, the window is in the middle of the screen and not to the top left as when it was shut down. Anyone else notice this?

Does the size of the Firefox window matter (i.e. does this also happen with a smaller Firefox window) ?

You can try to rename/remove xulstore.json in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed.

You can use the button on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page (Root directory).

Possibly due to the switch to native Wayland, try setting the environment variable MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=0.
