An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition (without signing in to sync account) and see if it happens there.
Could the settings be related to autoplay or DRM?
- Allow or block media autoplay in Firefox
- Watch DRM content on Firefox (usually not relevant to YouTube)
