Android Firefox v114.1.0 (Build #2015955411), 4bddc25255+ Samsung Galaxy S9+ Android v10

Hello,

Firefox was upgraded on my Android phone to the version above yesterday, and all existing tabs or any new websites are now blank (see second image attached). No page will load, no open tabs have any content / cant reload them etc. Clearing cache for the app, hasnt worked either.

Just hoping there is a fix rather than blowing everything away and then finding out there is still an issue.

Hi

Please can you check to see if you can update to 114.1.1. That might help resolve this issue.

Hi

In the Firefox for Android menu, under Settings, do you have HTTPS-Only Mode turned on? Is it enabled for all tabs or private tabs?

HTTPS only mode is off.

I am seeing lots of other people with the same problem since the v114.1.0 update on various forums

I am posting here, after having posted in another similar post. Should I roll back the version/update? Help! vaidy.subbaraman Today at 6:57 AM more options I have an Android and my Firefox is behaving the same this morning! I checked my version and it is 114.1.1. I have restarted the phone (VZ Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus) but that doesn't help. Is there a way to roll back to an earlier version of Firefox app?

If you have 114.1.1 ... In apps, clear the Firefox cache too, force stop Firefox and reopen the app and/or restart the phone again.

TY firefox2350, but your steps didn't work. I ended up un-installing the Firefox (ver 114.1.1) app, restarting phone and then installing it again. Now it works! Waste of time, IMHO. At least it works now.

Only after clearing the Cache AND Memory FF worked again with 114.1.1

I have this same issue with 114.2.0 (Build #2015957435), f986bd245f+ GV: 114.0.2-20230619081400 AS: 114.1.

I have tried force stopping and restarting the phone, but it doesn't help

Hi

Does switching between two tabs fix the problem?

Does switching to another app and then back to Firefox for Android fix the problem?

Do they have Android dark mode enabled?

Hi

Thank you for your patience while we have been working to look into and resolve this issue.

Please look out for an update from the Google Play store for Firefox for Android version 115.0.1 that we believe should resolve the issue that you have been experiencing. If you see any further issues similar to this, please reply here and we can look into this further for you.

I've created a separate thread for this but this is happening for me on the latest main version *and *focus *and* beta *and* nightly. Those are all fresh installs.

I first noticed this with Facebook but figured it was their site but now it is *everything*: zero sites will load but only when on cellular, WiFi works. Everything else works on cellular and I'm posting this from chrome.

I have reinstalled and purged the main app, nothing. Sometimes I get a "connection reset", sometimes "proxy refused connection", sometimes a blank white page.

Everything is up to date and based on the above this has been an introduced big in previous versions, seems to me that the fix has made it worse....
