I mark e-mails in thuderbird scam folder as junk mail but they keep repeating. How can i stop hem??

I'm having same/similar problem. Hope I'm not cutting in on your post roswell. I'm getting mails marked as "Junk" & they are "Junk". I move them to the Junk Folder but I still get mails again from the same outfits. Is Thunderbird Junk system not working?
