Firefox Generated "secure" passwords not that secure

Hello!

I'm a recent migrant from LastPass since learning of their trackers. Lockwise seems nice, but when, in firefox, I try and generate a new secure password (i.e. go to site asking for new password and click on dropdown) the passwords aren't that great -- medium length, and no symbols or numbers. How can I change password generation settings?

Thanks!

Dear Nick126, I refer you to the link https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-generate-secure-password-firefox . I hope I have been helpful.

Thanks, but that doesn't actually provide any information related to my question as far as I can tell.

Dear Nick126, You could possibly use a password generator external to firefox. I hope I have been helpful.

Thanks! I think if that’s what I need to do I’ll just use a different password manager (The convenience of lockwise is rather underminded if I have to use a second program every time I generate a password), but I love Mozilla so I was hoping to find an internal solution.

Hi, what I can advise you is to continue to use lockwise and eventually change your password by adding special characters to make it stronger. I hope to be proved helpful.
