Using Firefox in RDS, not opening applications.

Using remote apps via RDS on server 2016. When using Firefox (currently v72.0.2 (64-bit)), when clicking on PDF or Office apps, the option appears to open or save, when opening, another box then comes up with the file association box, which does not show the application to open. Due to restrictions, I can't add the exe from C drive for Adobe, Word etc..

This sounds like associations are missing from your OS...
