Firefox is my preferred browser for many years, but has become almost worthess because it is soooooooooooooooooo incredibly slow. I have tried every suggestion I've found online. Note to Mozilla: constant refrain of "Try opening in Safe Mode" grows old after the first 300,000 times, especially when it's no help. Web pages take forever to load, frequently hang. When I use Chrome, web pages open lickety split, from which I assume the problem is not my computer. I'm pretty desperate. Would love to solve this problem - along the rest of the North American continent - before abandoning FF/Quantum, because I like it so much otherwise. Thanks for reading.

The problem is, most users have no problem. When someone does report something, we try to find out what the issue is. But . . . .

Have you tried Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?
