Not Printing
I have read various posts on the web about this issue and am wondering if it is likely to be solved soon. I can use the workaround (reading/printing via browser) but it would be good to be able to print direct from TBird.
My system is Windows 10 Home version 1803. Printer HP Envy wireless functioning but printing blank sheets ... OK printing from other mail systems & pc's.

Open Tools/Options/Advanced/General/Config. editor and right-click the preference print_printer, Reset, OK to close Options, restart TB. Any difference? Changing the paper size to A4 might also help.
Unfortunately this does not solve. So how do I restore the change I made and is there any other known solution? I have two printers listed (lots of different lines for each) but one is not now used. Can I delete its reference. Thanks Ron
It might help to delete obsolete printer.printer preferences in Config. editor. What is your TB version? Upgrading to v. 60 by downloading and running the full installer might avoid the printing bugs in TB 52.
Version 52.9.1 current release.
- Can't work out how to delete the obsolete printer many entries in Config.Editor ... I had already deleted it from the Windows 10 'Printers' but obviously there is not a 'delete link' with TB.
- Found the answer ... Reset all of them and reboot TB
Paper size seems correct at A4

The same printer preferences are listed in prefs.js in the profile folder. Close TB, open prefs.js in a text editor, and make the changes (backup prefs.js before doing this).
Thanks. We crossed in replying ... I edited my above post. Still blank printing after deleting obsolete printer. I think A4 is correctly set in TB because if I File/Print it first opens the printer preferences which are correct.
Haven't installed v60 because I guess that it will be offered soon in TB Help/About Thunderbird which will retain all my settings and emails.
