Could you explain the problem in a little more detail? For example: Do you mean that Firefox shows a message in the lower left that it is waiting for something from freeze.com and meanwhile the page is not rendering? Or that Firefox is actually trying to leave the site to load a page on freeze.com?

In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the problem sites in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:

• "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
• Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run

After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset).

ou can uninstall Freeze.com NetAssistant from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.

   On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
       Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall a Program.
       Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
   When you find the program Freeze.com NetAssistant, click it, and then do one of the following:
       Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall.
       Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
   Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Freeze.com NetAssistant.
   If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.
