I'm in China,i cannot update thunderbird without VPN,if i open VPN,i can read and receive new emails,but i cannot answer,how to find out the problem ,thanks

In another place (in french) they say it is Outgoing server: The sending server e-mail: SSL0.OVH.NET Outgoing Server Port: The port outgoing server: 465 or 587

So I really wonder if they know what they are doing. Or if language is a barrier.

What VPN?. many commercial VPN providers block SMTP from their service as VPN's make great SPAM relay points.

I've checked other computer in the office,VPN is Astill,thunderbird works nomally with it,could you give me some advises about setting? Thanks for your reply so quikly.
