When I log into Nationwide it tells me that the site is down when it isn't

I am automatically redirected to https://onlinebanking.nationwide.co.uk/Error/GeneralError when I try to log into the Nationwide Building society. This doesn't happen when I am on Google Chrome.

You can clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
