Thunderbird keeps giving me a not responding message. I do not have McAfee installed.
There are a number of messages about not responding issues and the fix is about McAfee. I am not using McAfee but I am still receiving this message even in safe mode. Why?

What is your anti-virus software?
Try to start *Windows* in safe mode with networking enabled.

Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode.
