It seems that every time there is an update to Thunderbird, I lose all of my saved passwords. Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

Loose your saved passwords, or get asked for them because they are not working.

I have seen a lot of the second because of anti virus firewalls that block the newer version as unknown. I do not see the loss of passwords per sea
