When I use Firefox to load ebay pages most of the time it won't load the pages and a pop up says "Sorry cannot load page at the current time please try again later". Even with consistent trying won't load. Called ebay and they stated to only use Internet Explorer that Firefox won't work most of the time. Used Internet Explorer and don't have any issue's. Is there a fix to this or do I have to just go back and use Internet Explorer only and move all my bookmarks to explorer and delete Firefox from my computer? Been very happy with Firefox but I use Ebay a lot daily for my Business. This problem has only started about 6 - 8 weeks ago and has become constant. Thanks

I use eBay sometimes and I've never had a problem with it.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • The image "new fx menu" does not exist. > Options/Preferences> Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • The image "new fx menu" does not exist. > Options/Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
