thanks for following up, so nothing obviously malicious is showing up in this log. however in regards to performance you should probably try those two things:

• please go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions panel and disable the skype click-to-call addon, as it is known to cause some performance issues

in addition to malwarebytes antimalware, you should probably run a scan with adwcleaner as well: https://toolslib.net/downloads/viewdownload/1-adwcleaner/

Dear Philipp, thank you very much for your response. I will surely update the graphic driver (I actually did it recently after a pop up on the little icon in the right lower corner showed up).

I'll disable Skype addons immediately.

As for the scan, I ran adware cleaner full scan (about 16 hours), AVG (14) and then Microsoft Sec Essential (14) ... I passed on Comodo because of the conflicts I had with network printer ports. My computer has always come clean as a sheet bleached in a professional washing machine.

One more question: over the last couple of days I start to browse for apartments and on one website, the problem of the re-directing was very intense. Can that depend on the website?

I'm getting TERRIBLE hangs after being on for an hour or more. It seems that it use a shitton of memory all of a sudden for some reason. I rarely have on any plugins but the basics. This just started in the past day along with all of the other problems I've had with this version. I have no idea what's going on. I've experimented with turning on and off hardware acceleration, already. Nothing is working.

@fabster64: yes those redirects might also be caused by the site you visited or any third party advertising code on it. you might want to try one of the adblocking addons available at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/extensions/privacy-security/ & see if this can address the issue.

Hi Philipp, thank you once again for helping out. I actually have the Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon 0.9.2.1 adblockpopups@jessehakanen.net enabled; in fact from time to time I have the feeling that somethings "might" pop up and then it is stopped (I am not sure I am expressing my self properly).

Hi Philipp, yesterday when I came back from a work trip, I plugged the monitor into my computer and now the monitor has a different resolution and when I try to change it, in the Screen Resolution panel I only have a single voice Generic non-PnP monitor and no way to change the resolution.

I solved the monitor problem, but I keep having other problems with Mozilla:

1. when I open the page of Airbnb the tabs for the rating are overlapping. This does not happen if I use Internet Explorer.

2. when I open gmail I always get the following message Error Some Gmail features have failed to load due to an Internet connectivity problem. If this problem persists, try reloading the page, or using the basic HTML version. Learn More.

to access my mail I have to reload the page at least 3-4 times
