I am having trouble getting into Thunderbird email. I open T- bird - no new emails down load. It asks for a password . It has not asked for this before I assume it is saved. I went into security, found my saved password; entered that- no access. I tried rebooting- no change. I tried rebooting the router- no change. I tried sending an email from T-bird and got the message below. I can open old emails Internet works (I'm sending you this email) Any thoughts? Michael

has your mail provider changed the settings required to connect to the mail server? Happening more and more as providers implement encrypted connections.
