Despite following the instructions ,I am unable to clear my browsing history. Every time I click on to "clear history," nothing happens. I am afraid to re-install the browser because my wife also has an account on the same PC and I do not want to delete here bookmarks etc.

Since last update (early mid Dec) browser history is not been deleted properly on clicking delete history. Recently opened tabs remain in history even after 3 to 5 requests to delete. Ive had Firefox for many years, and am pretty ok versed in it's options and tools. Since a couple weeks my history is completely gone. It also won't record anything new. Im not in safe mode, not incognito mode, all the settings appear correct, yet still, won't record anything. Please help
