At some point in the last couple of weeks, I've started running into very frequent crashes running Firefox in the Linux container on my Chromebook. It previously worked well, but is now unusable. I'm now running Firefox version 147.0.3 on Chrome version 144.0.7559.167. This is after I did a clean reinstall of Firefox using flatpak, which didn't help. It seems like it often happens when my mouse hovers over a browser tab or icon (eg account, extensions, hamburger). Other quirky display behaviour, which mayor may not related, is that videos are often not working (eg Youtube, BBC), and various browser windows (eg when selecting Manage Bookmarks, or restarting in safe mode), open a small size-reduced window. I am trying to access this site: https://unabridged.merriam-webster.com/ I am logged in on the site with my membership, which is up to date.
But whenever I try to search a word, it redirects me to the login page. I can only assume that something is wrong with my cookies, privacy settings, and extensions in Firefox. After having cleared my cache, allowed cookies for the site in question, and messed around a bit more with my settings, the problem persists.
This is not happening for any other sites. Can you help? Thank you!

When I opened Firefox today, it asked me which profile I'd like to use. I named one Katy and then continued. Now, I can't see any of my bookmarks, none of my passwords are saved, none of my sites recognized. I've been using Firefox for years. Everything I have is saved there. I just want my old stuff back. I'm signed in on my account, but can't see another profile that I can choose. My phone still has all the passwords and bookmarks from before but I I can't see what profile I'm signed in under. Can anyone help?
