Links don't work reliably in Firefox. For example, I can't pay with PayPal when making a purchase because clicking the "PayPal" link doesn't open the PayPal page.

Is there a Firefox setting I need to change, or do I need to switch to a different browser?

It would be difficult for me to express my admiration of the new Firefox web site at this early stage .

Remembering i have just open and examined how much your company have included with so many subjects to use and to explore each improvement at our leisure.

I have updated my order of website use to make the new Firefox web site my priority.

This is only an issue in Firefox, so it's not an issue with my ISP or anything. Chrome shows my location correctly. Around 2 weeks ago after an update to firefox, it's just been constantly showing my location as Dublin. I'm in the UK. Certain sites show it correctly, some don't. Google doesn't show it right.

Several sites i check show it in the UK correctly, but google and a couple others show as in Dublin. I only run a limited number of extensions, Ublock surfshark, and bitwarden. If I put a uk location on surfshark, then google is right, but turning it off and then it is back to ireland.

I did not really know what happened but every time I opened home page, it did not load. It was working before but suddenly it didn't. I have tried writing "about:home" into search bar and it returned nothing. Just a blank page and an empty search bar.

I've checked the settings and it should be fine. Nothing wrong with it. I've checked the flatpak version and its ok. I was able to open my home tab.

I am using Firefox 148.0.2 (64-bit) Debian .deb.

Fire fox wont allow Prowriting aid to run. Its a desktop app and should be able to run. I have tried updating both programs. Changed settings and done everything I can think of but it still wont work. I dont wish to change Browsers but may be forced to if this problem cant be fixed

Places where I've observed this behaviour:

• The 4th video in the description of https://store.steampowered.com/app/1363080/Manor_Lords/ (ignore the media carousel at the top of the page)
• This video https://dolphin-emu.org/m/user/blog/progress-report/2603/rebelstrike-texturestreaming-av1.webm that's loaded in an embed at https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2026/03/12/dolphin-progress-report-release-2603/

When these videos are in view and playing, they're decoded using the CPU and the browsers frame rate tanks (heavy/laggy scrolling when scrolling with mouse scroll wheel), I have a Geforce 3070 which includes support for AV1 decoding so I'm not sure what's happening.

AV1 videos found on Youtube like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foqVJq-XPTg are fully hardware accelerated by the GPU (Stats for nerds confirms it's playing an AV1 copy) and doesn't exhibit any performance issue.

GPU usage is monitored by Task Manager in Windows 10. For the problematic videos the GPU Decoding is at 0% with a workload being spread across many of the CPU cores. For the non-problematic 4K video the GPU Decoding is around 60-70% and no workload is distributed across multiple CPU cores.

Hello, I'm really confused about the autofill feature. I've been using this feature for years and noticed that on some website the password field is filled in, but the username is not. I searched the support pages and forum topics, and it seems that is a very common issue. According to what I read, it could be either:

1. The webmaster decided to tell the browser not to fill in the username, but let the password to be filled in.
2. The webpage use some out of standard approach to name the username field, so Firefox is unable to recognize it.

What annoys me is that there's no way to understand if it's the first or the second case, so you just accept it.

It would be very helpful if Firefox could:

1. Provide a way to understand what the real problem is.
2. Add an option to override moronic security approach of the web designer, so the "do-not-fill-in-this-field" property is overridden.

I’m facing an issue in Firefox where some icons on my website are not updating their color correctly.

I’m using SVG icons, and the color changes work fine in other browsers, but in Firefox they seem to stay fixed.

I’ve tried clearing cache and checking CSS (fill/color), but no change so far.

Is this a known issue with how Firefox handles SVG or could I be missing something in the implementation?

Its simple but I dont get it and firefox used to be able to it is simply like any website you have a file of anything you can slip it in just like Chrome edge opera fire fox to get it the file you have to like go in like not automatc more like MANUALLY

I’ve just setup my Mac (Tahoe 26.3.1) again as it was compromised.. Now, I was very vary of which applications, apps, logs, certificates, …. etc are installed // running.

Unfortunately, I’ve crashed my Firefox browser as I’ve seen weird names on the settings section -> certificates. I’ve just deleted them…. Once I was done, I couldn’t load any website anymore. Now, I’ve opened up a new profile (Main Profile), migrated passwords, bookmarks and checked the main settings (not touching the certificates…). The Original Profile & Profile 2 are obsolete.

Result: I can load websites again, have my bookmarks and access everything needed but now, I can’t sign back in into my Mozilla Firefox account to keep syncing everything between my Iphone, Mac and my account (just in case I’m crashing it again..).

Issue Remaining: When I’m trying to sign in entering my email address the ERROR: “Unexpected error” comes up… That wasn’t the case beforehand.

Anybody with a potential solution or steps and settings for an idiot to check if they’re correct?

Probably the wrong topic, but I can't access two NY Times daily puzzles for the last couple of months after using them with this browser for more than a year before that on this pc and this browser.

I receive the message "Non-compliant action. The current operation is blocked by your IT administrator. Click 'OK' to continue." when going to https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html. That URL works fine on Edge, but I like to keep all my personal activity on Firefox and use Edge for my consulting work with clients.

Similarly, but not quite the same, Connections (https://www.nytimes.com/games/connections?GAMES_connectionsRollout_1130=1_ConnectionsV2) displays non-HTML formatted text, see added image.

Working my way through all NYT puzzles, 2 give non-HTLM text while the rest give the "Non compliant action error".

I would appreciate your help.

Yesterday I updated IOS on Macbook Air M2 to Tahoe 26.3.1. Today I had a problem with wallpaper and was in the middle of a conversation with apple when I accidentally closed the firefox browser. When I opened it and went to history, it did not have any of my history since the upgrade?

I really enjoy using the recently added sidebar, but I want to put it away temporarily while watching videos. After some digging around, I finally found the simple keybind for expanding it (ctrl-alt-z). With the 'hide tabs and sidebar' option toggled, I'm able to open and close it at will, which is exactly what I wanted.

However, whenever I do this, the sidebar snaps to what I assume is its default size (picture 1). I usually use it at minimum size (picture 2,) such that only the icon of each tab shows. I tried to readjust it, but it seems to not snap to this size anymore unless I disable 'Hide Tabs and Sidebar.'

For now, I'm just going to temporarily toggle that setting on when I want it out of the way, and manually fix things later. But, is there a way I can have the best of both worlds? Can I make the 'default' the sidebar snaps to the minimum size I usually use from Picture 2?

Hello, I accidentally clicked on a new toggle button and it opened a Google sidebar. I also now do not have the ability to have multiple tabs open on the same browser. If I clcik on command-T (Mac), the screen goes dark. What happened? Can I get my old system back, without this Google sidebar?

On new tab, all my added short cuts are gone and it doesn't let me add any. For example I want to have a shortcut to say... Amazon, but when I type or paste in the url, it still doesn't add it and the add button goes blue, not white. I have the shortcut feature turned on
