My name is Debbie. Years ago I chose to make my homepage to get to my email as the AOL Homepage. I have always accessed it via Firefox. Never any problems, until about a week and a half ago.

When I get onto the AOL homepage, there is a big square for stories that automatically shift from one to the next. On the right is always a picture related to the story. On the right is always a short text to describe the story/image - that is, until recently.

Out of nowhere, the text will not show up but ONLY in my Firefox Browser. Since I thought it was an AOL problem, I spoke with a Tech Support "Expert" (his word). I gave him remote ability to move around to find out the problem. He had thought it was McAffee and Privacy defender, so he turned both of those off. He also said that he went to Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome and called up the AOL homepage and the text was there. So he said it's a Firefox problem.

I am hoping there is even just ONE person who sees this and knows about the AOL homepage viewed via the Firefox browser. Someone who can tell me if this is just happening to both MY laptop AND my husband's laptop, or if it's a problem having something to do with not being compatible with Google Chrome? That's what my husband found and read to me.

It's not a serious or urgent problem, it's just what I've gotten used to. So if anyone can shed any light on why this happened out of nowhere and if there's a way to fix it, PLEASE respond.

Firefox reports that my theme is dark no matter what if I set it to _Automatic_. This results on any website that follows the CSS rule to prefer system theme to also be in dark mode. The only way I can get Firefox to use _Light_ is to manually select that option.

I have observed this behavior on MacOS Sequioa and also Tahoe (after a clean install). Other browsers I tested (Chrome, Safari) are not impacted by this behavior.

AirTable.com online app attached documents are downloading when selected to view. Not a problem in 148. Not happening on other browsers.

I installed firefox a week ago, now in the middle of creating a x account I no longer can reach the internet on this browser, edge works, chrome works. IT SAYS AT THE TOP YOU MUST LOG IN T THIS NETWORK BEFORE YOU CAN AS THE INTERNET. IT LET ME CREATE 1/2 OF A X ACCOUNT.

Is this the reason millions of people are leaving firefox as AI has indicated? The fix is apparently try this for 2 pages. Please create a trouble shooting tool within firefox to fix this junk and I am deleting firefox, don't worry I will reload it 1 - 5 years and try again as I did 1 -5 years in the past.

Firefox has definitely gone downhill imho. Too many very frequent updates after browser slows down to a virtual standstill. I have seriously been looking at other browsers. What's the story?

I am not sure if you have herd this or not since the newest Firefox update everything is very slow. takes forever to get anything on Firefox especially with extensions enabled. Especially Facebook . Now i am not sure if this is Facebook's fault or if it is Firefox Iam using this version149.0 64 bit. if it is not Firefox have you hear d or seen yourselves about Facebook not loading correctly . Please if anyone knows of either problem feel free to contact me

Home page bookmarks are missing. I am not able to add bookmarks on the home page either. But if I click on the top search bar, all of my missing bookmarks appear, but just a miniaturized version. Please restore the original home page layout.

In the address bar dropdown menu, what determines how many Recent Searches vs. how many of my Shortcuts are displayed?

One profile shows 15 Shortcuts & 5 Recent Searches. Another profile shows 19 Shortcuts & 1 Recent Search.

Is there a setting that controls this?

When I log into Google, my browser freezes. I can't close the browser, can't even restart the computer — and this happens every single time I try to sign into my account, making the browser essentially unusable.

I’m working on a website ( https://greenleavesnursery.com/ ) and I’ve added JSON-LD structured data to improve SEO. I know Google Search Console can test it, but I want to verify directly in Firefox.

Is there a way to see if the JSON-LD is being parsed correctly in the browser? Any recommended Firefox developer tools or extensions for checking structured data or meta tags? Are there browser-specific issues I should be aware of with dynamically-injected metadata via JavaScript?

I’m trying to debug and make sure my pages work correctly across modern browsers before submitting them to search engines.

I had some issues with Firefox so I removed and I reinstalled it. I had a Firefox account with sync enabled on since one year ago. However after the update, I couldn't recover my old profile: my bookmarks are gone. I don't know what to do. None of the guides were helpful. With an account and sync on, should have been enough to restore my data, right?

Hi, I'm running FF 149.0 (64-bit) on Windows 11. I've used profiles for a while now and on several occassions I've "lost profiles". Currently I have three profiles which I set up and edited the icon and colour associated with each. When I launch FF I see the Profile Manager and can select any of the three and I can create a new profile which shows here. However, once in any one of the FF profiles I don't see the others - by which I mean that when I go via the hamburger lines top right and click on the current profile, the 'other profiles' section is blank. I also cannot edit the profile from using the edit pencil top right (after clicking the hamburger lines and clicking on the current profile), it takes me to about:editprofile but the page is completely blank. Confusingly, if I go to about:profiles I see two profiles, neither of which shows up in the Profile Manager! I'm going round in circles trying to understand where to edit my exisitng profiles and make sense of the five profiles that don't all show up in the same place!

I got a notification from Firefox to update the browser. Which is fine. But, when I tried to go to History to delete the downloads and previous months history. It will not allow me to delete the months history. It does nothing.
