Everything is gone from the browser today. There is no content in the menu at the top right, except for keyboard shortcuts. When I type in the search bar, nothing happens, and clicking the + to open a new tab does nothing either. My account is still showing at the top, I am signed in and the profile looks fine. I can't "refresh" the browser from the menu, as that is not an option.

Has anyone else experienced this today? What is going on?

Not sure if this is a Firefox or YouTube bug.. it's really annoying and happens quite a few times each day I use my PC.. Is there any solution to this or perhaps reverting the update til this is resolved? I usually wait fo rit to stop lagging or if I'm not patient enough.. I'll just close Firefox entirely and re-open. Thanks.

I used to be able to right click on the search drop down menu and open YouTube without typing anything. Now it requires a search. A minor inconvenience I know, but all the same.

A couple of years ago the down-loader was not working very well until I found a Beta version and has worked well for you tube . Now a lot of videos when played back are in another language that sounds like French , not sure. my settings are on English and so are you tubes. It has been happening the most when I download Affinity designer tutorials new and old version of affinity . When I listen to the video I'm downloading on you tube it's English as soon as its done downloading its in another language.

When I went to https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/products/vpn/ and decided to purchase a Mozilla VPN prepaid annual subscription part of the reason was this "feature"

There is nothing easy when clicking on the download for the Mozilla VPN extension yields a message that the add-on or extension has been blocked. The explanatory link provided is https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-cause-issues-are-on-blocklist. That lets you know that:

"When add-ons violate Mozilla’s policies, compromise user safety or privacy, or fail to meet user expectations, Mozilla takes action. This may include disabling add-ons in Firefox to maintain a secure and reliable user experience. "

So, when will Mozilla stop violating Mozilla's policies so that the Mozilla VPN add-on is fit for use on Firefox v 149.0 [without free VPN] running on WIN10 64?

I got a new pc and wanted Firefox, but chose Startpage as my search engine. Then there was a big problem so I changed it to Duckduckgo, which I had on my old pc. It was ok, but then it changed today to giving me startpage again even though I made the change on the Firefox settings page. I can't find a way to eliminate Startpage. Help?

My question is a very obvious one if you look at the two screenshots I've attached. The 'X' to close the Firefox browser keeps disappearing, along with the 'maximize' and 'minimize' options as well. This has been happening for months. The recurrence rate is 50/50 each time I open the FF browser. It's not just an issue with closing or minimizing a page, it also removes the access to my Windows taskbar at the bottom!! Normally, when I move my mouse to the bottom, my taskbar pops up and I can access whatever I need, BUT when the FF browser has NO 'X' at the top corner, my taskbar won't show up at all! This is finally getting on my last nerve!🤦♀

Any knowledge as to why this keeps happening?🤷♀

My FF browser is up to date, as of yesterday. My default search engine is google. My PC is still running Windows 10.....could this be the problem?

When I am in FireFox , I go to Instagram, when I am in IG, I click on a picture I want to save, a block comes up but there is NO save image button to click on.I then have to go to Google Chrome to save pictures, I have written 3or4 time to FF but no answer. i go to chrome have no problem getting and keeping Facebook i have closed and enable the extensions removed some and it either does not work or takes for ever in the version of Facebook. . I keep checking if Facebook is down there are limited problems but i do not see the problems in Chrome. if this keeps up i will be going to chrome which i really do not want to

when mozilla updated... our thunderbird -email.,files,folders, vendors names & folders/ invoices, documents & customers names/address books on all of this had disappaired charts & all other mail that we had

I had to restart my Mac (late 2015, macOS Monterey 12.7.6) yesterday and when everything was back up and running, my Firefox bookmarks were gone. I followed the steps in a help article on this site to restore them or try to find out if there was another profile (there wasn't), but nothing worked. Any other suggestions? (And if you do have them, please spell them out like I'm a fifth grader!)

I've been prompted to update Firefox. Multiple times I have downloaded the latest version, deleted the existing one, and installed the latest one. The next day I get the same prompt that I'm in need of an update.

When I enable the firefox built-in vpn I have an error: "The proxy server is not found

Firefox cannot connect to the server at accounts.firefox.com What can you do?

Try to connect to another device. Check your modem or router. Log out and reconnect to Wi-Fi."
