I was using my web browser and I tried to load a pdf on word. The Mozilla asked me to sign in and all my bookmarks and history was gone. A VPN was up in the tip right hand corner appeared that I had never seen before. I have no idea how my original homepage disappeared and all my bookmarks with it.

Lately I can not click all of my browser tabs, only some of them unless I do not have the browser maximized on the screen. If I make is smaller then I can click all of the tabs. Since the recent Firefox update I can't find a hardware acceleration setting to toggle off to see if it helps.

In that ip address bar, when you click in it there is a dropdown menu. It used to have all those sites that I look at every day. Recently is has added some others which I almost never go to and has dropped some that I go to every day. Like I went to the national do not call registry to register my phone number. I only went there once, and that was a few weeks ago but for some reason it keeps that one in that menu, at the expense of my regulars. There are a few more like that. there are now 3 like that, things that I have only gone to once, but there they are apparently permanently. How do I remove those I don't want so that it has apace for those I do want?

My desktop history is no longer synching with my phone. I have the proper desktop device synced.

I haven’t checked, but I’ll venture to guess my bookmarks and open tabs aren’t syncing either.

Why?

I previously accidentally removed notification permissions from discord. I'm trying to reanable them, but even when i enable the settings in discord firefox will not give me the popup to turn on notifications. when i click on the usual permissions tab myself it simply does not show the notifications option. they are not blocked in my firefox settings, and other sites like youtube and twitter work perfectly fine

The window is not coming, up. shut it down with task mgr. Deleted xul.json file and it worked for a little while. but broke toady. Windows update done andn restarted.

i have a lenovo windows 10 desktop media centre. every time i launch firefox on it is will ask me if i want firefox to start at startup, which i do not want. i have selected no on the push notification, and selected no in the settings yet the next time i open firefox it asks again, it is very annoying and has only been doing so for about 2 weeks

I've been using alt+a to open new tabs in a multi account container for a long time. Recently that shortcut stopped working possibly with the update to v148 as indicated in this reddit thread.

alt+a is not listed as a shortcut in about:keyboard or in about:addons > manage extension shortcuts or in my ubuntu shortcuts nor in any software I can think of thats running. I've disabled all add-ons except multi account containers and it still does not work. Changing the shortcut to another works fine.

Why would just that shortcut stop working? What else can I do to diagnose the problem?

On Debian Linux, how can I make all text in Firefox BOLD - t'ab names, texts on Toolbars, text on web pages, everything?

I use tab groups to save work sessions so I can easily close and reopen them when I need them. I typically use the downward arrow to see all of my tab groups, however, when I opened my laptop today, there are only two tab groups there and no "show all" option. When I opened my laptop today, I did see that Firefox had been closed unexpectedly and the restore sessions option, which I used. The two tab groups I had open when I left my laptop opened again when I used restore sessions, but now those are the only two tab groups I seem to have. How can I get back all of my other tab groups?

At some time after one of the updates, my passwords disappeared and no matter what I do, I need to reload them every time I start firefox as they are always missing.

Multiple attempts to post this and get help - my tab groups randomly closed and they are all gone. I spent a lot of time gathering up tabs into the right groups for big projects and trips. Somehow a window closed - accidentally, leaving only my inbox one open. I tried to no avail to find tab groups, restore history (option not given), and other ways to restore this.

I had been excited about the option of tab groups, and in the past they always reopened after a restart. But today they disappeared in the middle of session. It's tons of work and time lost and I don't think I'll use them again. What a disappointment.
