why is it required to do pairing or have codes to sync? This is a showstopper! How often do you ha ve access to another device?

why is it required to do pairing or have codes to sync? This is a showstopper! The main reason to have centralized settings is being able to access them *without* having access to your other devices. If you'd have access to the other device to begin with, you wouldn't have the need for a sync.

Please re-design this to a pure sync-service. I don't understand the need for these codes at all. They only provide obstacles. The only thing necessary should be an account. Even better if it's a single sign on to Facebook or other account provider.
