How do I extract multiple attachments after receiving in email?

I receive multiple files with attachments at one time. Would like to extract the attachments all together and placed in the same folder on my hard drive. I use to be able to do this using an add on but the add on no longer works with the current version of Thunderbird. Thank You for your help
