Firefox for Android features a responsive interface that adjusts to various screen sizes, including those of tablets. While the experience on tablets is similar to phones, some elements, like tab management and layout spacing, are optimized to take advantage of larger screens.

This article covers how Firefox behaves on Android tablets and how to navigate key features like tabs, menus, and browsing history.

Firefox interface on tablets

The Firefox for Android tablet UI is consistent with the mobile version, with minor enhancements for larger screens. You’ll see:

  • A wider layout with more visible content
  • Bottom navigation bar with tabs, home, and menu icons
  • Grid-style tab management, optimized for touch interaction
  • Responsive design that adjusts when switching between portrait and landscape modes
Note: Firefox no longer uses a separate “tablet UX” for screens above 7”. Instead, it adapts fluidly to your screen size.
