Since the blow up User Id's and Passwords to various sites no longer pop in by clicking in the requestors. I was able to retreive my UIDs and Passwords but I now have to obtain them from the Hamburger, Passworkds, etc. for each site I visit that requires a login. Twice for each site...one foe UID and again for Password. That is currently the worst problem I am facing but other damage was done with the update.

Suggestions for fixes are welcome.

Recently , after years of trouble free use I can't get into my email without correcting the incorrect password firefox tries to enter into YAHOO email . I tried using google AI to fix problem and all I got was a bunch of convoluted nonsense . This should be very simple . You save a login credential , firefox enters that credential for you next time you login . This sounds simple enough but what I got from AI was all this nonsense about cookies and tracking nonsense . I want things to be simple and direct . I NEVER SELECT REMEMBER HISTORY ...PERIOD . I NEVER SELECT "LEAVE YOU SIGNED IN" . The reasons are simple ...I WANT THINGS TO STAY SIMPLE .

The second I let firefox start leaving me signed in or remembering history , nothing but bullshit will follow . Now I have an issue which may result in me abandoning firefox entirely . Turns out the reason I got away from google is now what firefox is . Firefox used to be a straightforward browser that simply worked . Now its gotten complicated with all sorts of useless trash and here I am with a password manager that will not work for some completely convoluted reason . It enters a incorrect password . Any attempt to look in settings to correct problem is useless . The password I find is not even the same incorrect password it tries to enter !!!!!!!! This firefox is rapidly turning into shit !

Certains de mes identifiants sont inopérants lors de l'utilisation de Firefox en mode navigation privée ; cependant, certains sont actifs en navigation non privée. Les mots de passe sont bien stockés, mais ni les valeurs automatiques ni celles saisies manuellement ne fonctionnent. Les identifiants qui ne fonctionnent pas en mode privé, fonctionnent dans Google Chrome. Pourriez-vous m'expliquer comment résoudre ce problème, en français ? Merci.

Firefox suddenly stopped autofilling my password on a frequently used website and nothing I do fixes the issue. I've tried all the options and followed instructions offered on the firefox help pages and nothing works. Please advise?

Dear Team, good day! I use russian website gosuslugi.ru periodically (not daily), and my password for this website is saved in Firefox Password Manager. Today I tried to log in to this website - but my Firefox for Windows (ver. 152.0.4 x64) showed me that I need to enter "Password" - even though it's already saved in Password Manager & 100% correct (I tried same password in Google Chrome on the same PC and in Firefox on my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra with Firefox browser - in both cases everything is OK). Im using Windows 10 22H2 x64, activated, no any problems with it. I tried clearing the gosuslugi.ru cache in my Firefox - but it didnt help. could you please suggest any solutions? screenshot attached.

FF is offering up possible login names for a particular site I have used previously even though I have removed all related browsing history, form data, and cookies (and cleared the cache). What am I missing? Is it using stored history for unrelated sites to guess at a user name, or is there some other hidden history I need to clear?

Hello. I have my e-mail and password saved for Royal Caribbean. When i open up Royal Caribbean site and then go to put e-mail in and password in it will put the password in but not my e-mail address. I have to do it manually every time. All my other e-mails and saved password with anything else works just fine but not with RC. I have tried everything under the sun and nothing will work. I operate Windows 10 and Widows 11 on two different computers connected with a physical switch to my monitor, keyboard and external drives. On my windows 10 computer Firefox does not populate my ID and password on websites--like it used to. After manually entering this information I am presented with to option to save this information. After choosing that option, Firefox does not save and the next time I access the website I must again enter the information manually. This has become a great inconvenience as most of my passwords have been generated automatically and I must, therefore, reset them.

Works fine when operating with Windows 11.

Please show me the settings relating to my connection to triodos.co.uk. I need to remove the digit 9 which appears by default on the login page.

I recently kind of changed companies however I am in the same industry. These companies both have accounts with the same manufacturers/vendors. I am still doing contract work for the old employer so i need to keep the login credentials saved. I would like to have it when I launch the bookmark that they saved default login is the new company and not the old company. This is a 90/10 use rule if that makes sense. Thanks

Firefox suddenly stopped autofill for one of my credit card websites. Went to settings and everything seems to be in place. after manual log in FFasked to save info and I checked 'Save', but still no go. It just added new(additional) login info to my list of passwords.

Ever since the latest update I have been unable to use alternative password managers (Bitwarden in my case) to autofill passwords on IOS devices. I run a home server, so any local domain on my network defaults to using the Firefox password manager instead of the Bitwarden password manager. It seems like most websites with a proper domain work (for example, if I visit one website internally I get the Firefox password manager, if I visit the same site via my reverse proxy/domain I get the Bitwarden prompt for password entry).
