Hi I've attempted to disabled the entire new block of 'Stories' but they continue to show up cluttering my screen. Why isn't 'disable' working? How can i get rid of everything except the search window and my single line of helpful links? Gary

Android keyboard remains open, when firefox app is opened initially and website or search is triggered. But after I hide the keyboard manually, then its fine. But its always open if not hidden manually. This behavior was seen few months ago and still persists.

Hi, I believe this is some kind of bug/issue after the latest browser update (as I've quite literally never had this issue before). I like my launch page not to be cluttered with nonsense, no widgets, no activity, just my standard pinned shortcuts and the google search bar. However, after the latest update, "stories" have been on and have stayed on (despite altering all the settings that should get rid of it altogether). Even after turning it off, it appears it turns itself back on immediately. I don't want to see this junk and shouldn't have to, no one should, I even went to the trouble of blocking all topics in hopes the thing would just vanish. It did not. I hoped to report this to Mozilla more directly but couldn't find a meaningful bug report option. If anyone else has encountered this or if anyone has a true solution, I'd like to hear it, thank you.

It appears the new update in Firefox has glitched my settings. Everytime I try to disable it on the homepage, and I reload it, it just turns itself back on. Settings not on the homepage does not help either. Nothing appears to work, although it has been working for many years until today.

My Firefox just updated and I'm now receiving the recommended stories (along with the widgets and recent activity.) when I open a New Tab. I was able to disable the widgets and activity and I see the place where I can turn off the Stories, but they are not going away.

In the "Customize" menu accessible via the pencil icon on the New Tab page, toggling Stories off does not make them go away; reloading the page, the toggle is re-enabled.

In the general Settings menu, accessible via the hamburger menu and under "Home and startup," I have Stories ("Exceptional content curated by the Firefox family") toggled off. The toggle does not reset, but the stories still display.

I'm trying to remove the "recommended stories" section of the new tab page. Using the pencil button, I can toggle off the "recommended stories" button. But it doesn't stay off! After toggling off, if I open a new tab or even relaunch Firefox, the toggle is back on.

I've been relying on the checklist widget - but it has disappeared, along with my other timer & weather widgets. I see no way to get them back, either in Firefox settings or in the home page settings either.

I click on the website page and scan through things then close that website. Then I get on the search engine page an icon of that website I just looked through added onto the search page as an icon. I do not want this. I know how to add websites I frequently visit so its not that. It must be a setting somewhere in my Firefox settings. How do I switch this off?

I opened Firefox this morning and all of my pinned shortcuts have disappeared. Shortcuts are enabled in the settings. I checked the browser.newtabpage.pinned pref on the about:config and all of my pinned shortcuts are not there
