can't find server on one specific website

For the past 2 days I have been unable to access the website for nbcnews.com (and today.com which is related---however, I have no issues with nbcsports and nbc for shows). This has been one of my home tabs for months and nothing I can think of has changed in the last few days. I do not have problems with any other site I frequent.

I have tried accessing it different ways---through my home tab, through google, and through the nbc sites I can access---each time I get the same "Problem loading page Server Not Found Firefox Can't Find the Server at nbcnews.com".

I have tried clearing cookies and cache, and also discovered I can't reach this site on Chrome or IE either. I'm not sure I want to try a reset. Is there anything else I can try or any reason you can think of why this one site might be an issue?

Hi there!

Sorry you're having problems with this. We will try to help you out here.

First I see that you have Norton Toolbar installed. Can you try to disable that? Go to Firefox button > Add-ons > Norton Toolbar > Disable' and restart Firefox when prompted. Let me know what happens.

Weird---the toolbar was already disabled, but somehow when I restarted firefox anyway the site has now reappeared. Thanks!
