Win7 Pro system crashes repeatedly (B.S.O.D.)while running FF 9.0.1

Since installing FF 9.0.1 my Windows 7 Pro system has crashed (Blue Screen Of Death - BSOD) at least once daily while running Firefox. It does not do so while running any other application. I've run full system virus and malware checks with several apps - system appears to be clear. Windows is fully up to date and protected with Norton firewall and Norton On-line.
