internal error 500 keeps coming up when I open Firefox. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but that did not solve the problem. How can I fix this error

I cannot use Firefox, so I have uninstalled it because it does in work on my computer, but it does work on my desktop and other laptop. This is a new computer, so I am not understanding why this problem is occurring. When I first installed Firefox on my new laptop it worked just fine, but for about a week now it will not work.

Which security software (firewall) do you have?

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
